Following on from 2017/2019, we had our greenhouse gas emission reduction targets validated again by the Science Based Targets Initiative in 2024. The validated 2030 and 2050 targets put HUBER+SUHNER on a trajectory towards net-zero. This would not have been possible without the data held in REGIS and sinum's support. REGIS also facilitates the annual publication of our environmental data with CDP.

We send our environmental data to the experts at sinum, who import the data into REGIS and use it to create reliable and externally verifiable environmental and carbon footprint assessments. This provides us with fact-based management information and an information system that serves as the basis for internal and external environmental and sustainability communication. At the end of 2025, the Science Based Targets Initiative validated our greenhouse gas emission reduction targets, an overall net-zero target and several medium- and long-term targets that mark the path to achieving the overall goal. sinum prepared the necessary data and successfully guided us through the validation process.

For the 2023 reporting year, we have extended the system boundaries of the life cycle assessment to the entire APG|SGA Group, i.e. we have included activities in Serbia in addition to those in Switzerland. We have also revised all significant Scope 3 categories. Thanks to the data entered into the REGIS application and the comprehensive support provided by sinum, we were able to tackle this challenging task. The subsequent step was to define short-term and long-term climate targets in all three scopes and have them verified by the Science Based Targets initiative.
